Gaming Innovation Group-powered brand PlayStar Casino has announced the launch of its online casino app on the App Store and Google Play Store in New Jersey. PlayStar offers access to live games of roulette, baccarat, and blackjack, as well as on-demand slots – including popular titles Starburst, Cleopatra, Megajackpots, and more.
PlayStar offers a personalized user experience with its customized "concierge," the brand notes. The more time users spend playing, the more attuned the concierge becomes to their typical gaming behaviors.
To celebrate the launch, PlayStar is offering a welcome bundle of a 100% deposit match up to $1,000 plus up to 500 free spins for each new user. Other launch promotions include "several high-value local prizes" tied to events around New Jersey this fall, the company noted.
"Players can expect an experience like no other on PlayStar, which places a high value on rewarding customers with the likes of Star Rewards, offering monthly vouchers for users to redeem at participating restaurants, and for leisure activities and services," the casino further explained.
Furthermore, PlayStar announced all its players will be part of the PlayStar Club, an all-inclusive loyalty program launching soon, where players will be treated to weekly and monthly rewards including high-end gifts, weekly cashback, birthday bonuses, and more.
PlayStar will have a presence in both North and South Jersey communities this fall, the online casino stated in a press release. PlayStar’s team will be on-site during two events at Atlantic City’s famous Boardwalk Hall: the Mary J. Blige concert on October 29 and the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) show on November 4.
The brand will also have a presence at Jets Island at MetLife Stadium (between lots E and F) prior to the Buffalo Bills game on November 6 and the Chicago Bears game on November 27. At each event, new PlayStar users can win free swag and enter for a chance to win a South Jersey group wine tour, plus Jets sideline passes and club tickets.
Earlier last month, the company announced it had partnered with Ocean Casino Resort to secure access to the limited license market in the Garden State. GiG powers the online casino's iGaming platform through an agreement based on a revenue share model with a minimum duration of four years.
PlayStar Casino is a privately owned company founded and operated by industry pioneer Joel Wikell -founder of Boss Media, Readly, Blinto, and Hexigames- and co-founder and CBDO Adam Noble -ex Yggdrasil and Play'n'go-.
New Jersey has enjoyed significant growth and development since regulation, with operators looking to capitalize on a market posting gaming revenue at 31% higher in August 2022 compared to the same time last year, according to a report by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement.
