Operator theScore Bet announced Thursday it has enhanced its mobile sportsbook and casino product with the introduction of new features and games that are now available to players in Ontario.
The company has added Parlay+ for sports betting, a feature that allows players to mix and match lines and player props from the same game across the major sports leagues. "Additional sports and leagues will be added in the next few months," the company announced.
Gotta Go Jackpots are also available as well. The product is described as "the first and only" daily jackpot game in Ontario, which drops every day before 11 PM, ET. It also includes Grand Jackpot, a progressive jackpot that starts at $25,000 and rolls over every day that does not draw a winner. The games were created by Evolution’s Red Tiger, which also provides theScore Bet's live dealer table games via its Evolution Studios.
Meanwhile, new addition theScore Bet Branded Live Casino Studio offers Blackjack and Roulette tables, exclusive to theScore Bet players. The games are available 24/7 and will feature theScore Bet’s branding to denote "when players are at an exclusive in-house table" alongside fellow theScore Bet players, the company highlighted.
The operator continues to enhance its mobile sportsbook and casino product since completing its custom technology stack in July 2022. Migrating to an in-house Risk and Trading platform "significantly expanded" theScore Bet’s product offering, with 10x the betting options including increased in-game wagering and event props, and an expanded library of markets, according to the brand.
theScore Bet now operates on a vertically integrated technology stack with all components, including the Risk and Trading platform, Player Account Management system and Promotion Engine custom built by its in-house product and engineering teams.
"The vertically integrated infrastructure also unlocks greater personalization and media and betting integration capabilities, enabling theScore Bet to more creatively and efficiently serve users," the operator had said back in July.
Parent company Penn Entertainment is now working toward migrating the Barstool Sportsbook in the U.S. to the platform in Q3 2023, after which the company will "begin to realize" the full benefits of its in-house, custom-designed technology, according to Penn CEO Jay Snowden.
