unikrn to launch revamped esports betting platform in Brazil and Canada

Video games and esports betting platform unikrn is launching in Brazil and Canadian provinces and territories other than Ontario, with plans for further expansion. The platform will continue plans to enter new, regulated markets around the globe in 2023 and into the future, a press release says.

The platform, which was initially introduced eight years ago, claims to offer a “safe, secure and accessible way” for a new generation of players to bet on esports. It also offers betting options across traditional sports and casino games.

unikrn is being relaunched with “a completely new look-and-feel,” offering an easy-to-use interface that makes it “smoother and simpler” for players looking to bet on their own, bet with friends or even bet on themselves. 

With an “around-the-clock video game stream of exciting action,” featuring some of the world's most popular video game titles, unikrn gives players “more ways to bet while watching and playing their favorite games,” the platform claims.

“unikrn is continually innovating and will evolve its product suite as the brand's footprint expands,” the platform said. The initial product offerings will include:

• UMode, which empowers players to bet on their own skills, so they can “put their abilities to the test and compete for more than just bragging rights.” The offering also gives players a way to raise the stakes of their ranked matches.
• unikrn Virtual gives players “a non-stop stream” of esports action to bet on, with new events and markets available around the clock. The esports collection features players facing off in popular sports games, fighting games and more – including Counter Strike: Global Offensive, NBA2K, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter V, among others.
• unikrn Esportsbook brings premier esports tournaments and major sporting events “into one convenient place." unikrn features dozens of esports titles in a variety of genres.
• unikrn Moneymatch gives players the opportunity to face off in public or private lobbies across a variety of different titles, with real money on the line. It is described as a “community match-making tool.”
• unikrn Sportsbook allows betting on sporting events from around the world. It permits users to customize their betting experience and combine their sports and esports betting.
• unikrn Casino features over hundreds of premium casino titles, from classic card games to premium slots titles.
• unikrn's Rewards system allows players to earn bonuses by playing titles. After linking their game account to their unikrn account, players will earn rewards after each match they play that can be used across the platform's product suite, with additional rewards opportunities for each win. Players can also earn daily rewards whenever they place bets on the platform.
