iGaming content provider Pragmatic Play announced Monday the launch of Darts, the latest addition to its Virtual Sports titles.
"Bringing the excitement and buzz of a real darts tournament to the virtual world, Darts incorporates cutting-edge animation and features including ultra-realistic player movement and expressions, commentary, and background music," the company said of the game.
In-game participants are selected from a list of 24 names and are required to play against every other competitor twice, alternating first-throw rights. Matches are played every two minutes to maximize revenue opportunities and all bettors view the same match and outcomes simultaneously across scheduled, fixed-odds tournaments, with each outcome decided by RNG.

As with many Pragmatic Play titles, the experience can be tailored to meet a wide range of operator needs, the provider notes. The default version of the game is in English but can be localized with native language text and currency.
Customized logos and branding, unique venue and player names, and bespoke player form and capability options can be provided on request, while RTP and stake limits can also be adjusted.
Irina Cornides, Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: "Virtual Sports has established itself as a vertical in its own right over recent years and Pragmatic Play’s portfolio of revenue-boosting content makes full use of the genre."
"Darts is enjoying global popularity like never before, with the World Championship exceeding 1.2 million viewers in the UK alone. Our new virtual product builds on this success by offering darts betting fans a new way to enjoy their favorite sports," she concluded.
