Hard Rock International announced it is set to open its latest project, the Rocksino by Hard Rock in Deadwood, South Dakota, on August 8, 2023. The Rocksino will be a boutique hotel and casino experience featuring 86 slot machines, live music and a full-service restaurant and bar with a "state-of-the-art" kitchen, located in the heart of the Black Hills National Forest. Hard Rock International executives, local community members and civic leaders will participate in grand opening celebration.

The property also announced it is seeking to fill several positions for its workforce, including administrative assistant, hospitality manager, executive chef, department supervisors, bartenders, kitchen staff, and retail sales associates. Details regarding job opportunities will be available online when the venue opens in the near future.

Jon Lucas, Chief Operating Officer at Hard Rock International, said: "We are thrilled to become a part of one of the most celebrated historic places in the U.S. and provide an economic stimulus to the city of Deadwood." The Rocksino is expected to become a new business driver in the region, which is famous for its gold rush history.

The Rocksino will partner with Tunnel to Towers to bring relief to the Oglala Sioux Tribal Veterans Program, the eighth-largest Native American Reservation in the United States. Details of this partnership will be announced at Grand Opening Guitar Smash at Outlaw Square on August 8th, featuring headliner Sublime with Rome.

Deadwood Mayor David Ruth commented: "The Rocksino by Hard Rock is sure to be an additional gem luring visitors to our amazing community." The Rocksino is expected to become a part of the UNITY by Hard Rock Rewards Program, which is a global loyalty program that allows guests to earn rewards while staying, dining, shopping and gaming at participating Hard Rock locations worldwide.

The general contractor for the project is SRK Development, with architects Worth Group and Chamberlin Architects, and interior design by Tandem. Electrical work will be completed by Deadwood Electric. Rocksino will be the only one of its kind in the Hard Rock International portfolio, offering a "boutique" experience on a smaller scale compared to the mega casinos and hotels the company is known for.

Rich Turbiville, the general manager of Rocksino, told News Center 1: "Hard Rock - one of their specialties is bringing in great musical entertainment - and being right next to Outlaw Square with the facility that Deadwood has built, it's a natural match for what we want to do with Hard Rock."

Hard Rock International's arrival in Deadwood is anticipated to further enhance the community's vibrant entertainment scene, combining the allure of the Wild West with the electrifying atmosphere that the brand is known for worldwide.
