Bally's Corporation has officially opened an expansion to its Bally's Kansas City casino, encompassing more than 35,000 square feet of gaming and retail space.
The event was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bally's Kansas City's Commercial Center Entrance on Friday and saw the presence of key company figures, including President George Papanier, and Pete Ciarrocchi, Founder and Owner of Chickie's and Pete's, along with other distinguished guests.
This expansion project represents a substantial investment by Bally's Corporation and is notably the most extensive since the company's acquisition of the property back in 2020. Within this expansion, Bally's has undertaken a complete redesign of its casino floor, introducing new gaming offerings.

Among the additions are 200 new games and the establishment of a dedicated high-limit slot area. The second floor has also been augmented with extra gaming options, aimed at providing patrons with a more laid-back and comfortable gaming environment.
Additionally, the commercial center now boasts the presence of Chickie's & Pete's Crabhouse and Sports Bar, with available space for Bally's to further incorporate additional dining and retail establishments.
Michael Donovan, Bally's Regional Vice President and general Manager - Midwest, stated: "We are very excited to unveil a transformed Bally's Kansas City. From the moment guests arrive, they will be greeted with enhanced dining and gaming experiences.
"We are grateful for the collaborative work of the city and the hundreds of union members who played a critical role in bringing this expansion to reality over the past two years."
Beyond the evident changes in dining and amenities, the casino has also undergone a comprehensive aesthetic upgrade to its interior and exterior. Notably, state-of-the-art lighting elements have been incorporated, creating a façade that illuminates the Kansas City skyline.
Moreover, enhancements have been made to site traffic circulation, enhancing guests' arrival experience. With several entrances now available, visitors can easily access the casino and explore Bally's Kansas City.
Since Bally's Corporation's acquisition of the former Isle of Capri in 2020, the company has continually upgraded various aspects of the property.
One notable addition has been the 1800 Baccarat Lounge—an Asian-themed gaming lounge and noodle bar, complete with eight Baccarat tables and a menu featuring Vietnamese Pho, seafood fried rice, an assortment of noodles, and bubble teas. This Asian gaming lounge has proven to be popular since its inception.
Furthermore, Bally's introduced the Celebrity Casino & Lounge, situated on the casino's second floor. It offers patrons over 30 slot machines, ranging from pennies to $5 machines, including both video and reel machines. Additionally, the lounge hosts a blackjack table, a baccarat table, and an exclusive dining experience featuring Jerry Longo's.
