Gaming and hospitality company Great Canadian Entertainment has unveiled plans for an upcoming rebranding of Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, set to take effect in December 2023, when it will be officially known as Great Canadian Casino Vancouver. This news follows the rebranding of the former Casino Woodbine into Great Canadian Casino Resort Toronto.
Great Canadian Casino Vancouver will be among the operator's flagship properties, "exemplifying the highest standards of gaming, entertainment, and service," the company said in a statement.
As a highlight of Great Canadian Casino Vancouver's metamorphosis, Gordon Ramsay Burger will open this winter, curated by the renowned Michelin-starred chef Gordon Ramsay. The new culinary establishment will offer a casual dining experience.
Located near the Fraser River waterfront in southwest Coquitlam, the refreshed casino will offer a diverse selection of games, from classic table games to the latest in slots in addition to a host of all-new high-limit private gaming rooms.
The Theatre at Great Canadian Casino Vancouver, a premier entertainment venue programmed in collaboration with Live Nation Canada will host a series of performances, including live entertainment.

The property, which originally debuted in 2001 under the name Boulevard Casino, later entered into a licensing partnership with the Hard Rock brand. It boasts a gaming floor spanning approximately 80,000 square feet and a live performance theater accommodating around 1,100 seats.
