Connecticut’s Foxwoods Resort Casino reported a slot revenue of $32.4 million for March 2024. This resulted in a $8.2 million direct payment to the State of Connecticut, per the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation’s long-standing slot revenue contribution agreement. Since 1993, the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation has deposited over $4.6 billion of Foxwoods’ slot revenue into the state’s budget fund.
In March, Foxwoods rolled out several promotions for guests including its March Hotel Sale, giving guests up to 30% off their stays; the St. Patrick’s Day Bingo, where guests had the chance to win $300,000 in regular game payouts; and the 4X Tier Credits, Pointzilla, and 4X Rewards Points promotions, which let guests tier up faster while playing games.
“March also brought the luck of the Irish to Foxwoods with the debut of ShamROCKED Shenanigans where guests enjoyed live music, authentic bagpipers, photo areas, a beer garden, and a chance to win a trip to Ireland provided by Teeling,” the casino stated in a release.
"Last month at Foxwoods DraftKings Sportsbook, guests were able to embrace the journey on massive wall-to-wall LED screens, while enjoying an extensive menu of craft spirits and beers, and reservable VIP areas, thereby becoming the 'perfect destination' for the ultimate VIP experience."
At Cedars Steaks and Oysters, guests could try a special Easter menu, including a brick-pressed cornish game hen with whipped potato, a shaved spring vegetable panzanella salad with vegetables, and basil vinaigrette.
Performances that took place at Foxwoods in March included Countess Luann, Terry Fator, The Oak Ridge Boys, Roy Wood Jr., Diamond Rio, Gaelic Storm & The High Kings, Priscilla Presley, and Roots & Boots.
Earlier this month, the resort casino announced its April Hotel Sale, giving guests the chance to receive up to 30% off deluxe rooms, fine dining options, and activities for stays from June 1st through August 31st. 4X Rewards Points promotion on April 4th, and 3X Rewards Points and 3X Tier Credits on April 12th let Foxwoods guests tier up faster.
Performances that took place at the resort casino earlier this month included rock band Sessanta: Primus, Puscifer, A Perfect Circle, musicians Adam Ant, Aaron Lewis, Rob Thomas, Tower of Power, and comedian Daniel Sloss.
Looking ahead to the rest of April, family activities will be held at Foxwoods’ Kids and Teens Week April 15th-18th. Kids can enjoy complimentary activities at the Rainmaker Expo Center, including arts and crafts, video games, face painting, balloon twisting and more. The Teen Lounge features Henna tattoos, bean bags, a selfie area, and games like foosball and air hockey.
Performances taking place at Foxwoods for the remainder of April include the Great Cedar Showcase Series: Nick Bosse, Mickey LaMantia, Liz Spencer on 18 April, Sublime with Rome on 19 April, Trey Kennedy on 20 April, Anthony Jeselnik on 26 April, The Temptations & The Four Tops on 24 April, Impractical Jokers on 27 April, and Drew Lynch on 27 April.
