Fanatics completes PointsBet takeover with sportsbook and casino debut in New Jersey

Fanatics Betting and Gaming has launched its Fanatics Sportsbook & Casino product in New Jersey. Sports bettors living in and visiting New Jersey are now able to download the Fanatics Sportsbook app on iOS and Android.

With this launch, the Fanatics Sportsbook is now available to approximately 95% of the addressable online sports bettor market in the U.S. The development follows Fanatics' completion of its acquisition of the U.S. businesses of PointsBet on April 3.

The company noted that in New Jersey, as in other states, PointsBet customers’ username, password, account balance, rewards points and responsible gaming settings will be automatically migrated to Fanatics. 

New Jersey is the final PointsBet state and marks the twentieth state for the Fanatics Sportsbook and the fourth state for Fanatics Casino. As well as New Jersey, Fanatics Sportsbook launched in Illinois and Arizona in recent weeks.

The Fanatics Sportsbook introduces a slate of features, including an app natively built on iOS and Android, its FanCash rewards system, a Discover feed, real-time game and stat updates, and more.

As part of the launch in New Jersey, Fanatics will also launch its online casino, embedded in the Fanatics Sportsbook app. The newly designed Fanatics Casino features a range of casino favorites like roulette, slots and blackjack along with offering customers IGT PlayDigital titles, Live Casino games from Evolution, first-party titles from Light & Wonder, and exclusive content from Fanatics Game Studios.
