Mesquite Gaming has hired Vinny Barile as Senior Vice President of Operations. Barile brings over 16 years of gaming and hospitality industry experience to CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino, Mesquite Gaming’s properties located in Mesquite, Nevada.
“The leadership and knowledge that Vinny brings to our company is invaluable,” said Justin Moore, CEO of Mesquite Gaming. “Having recently worked as a consultant for us, his transition will be seamless and he will be productive from day one.”
The company noted that in his new position, Barile will work closely with department heads to improve operations throughout Mesquite Gaming. He will report directly to the Moore.
Barile started his gaming career with Red Rock Resorts in Las Vegas, holding various gaming positions including Operations Manager, Slot Manager, and Director of Slot Operations across five Station Casinos properties. He then moved to join Jack Cincinnati Casino as Director of Slot Operations in Ohio.
Most recently, Barile returned to Las Vegas to rejoin Red Rock Resorts as Vice President/Assistant General Manager and then was promoted to Vice President/General Manager of Green Valley Ranch Resort. His last role with Red Rock Resorts was as Corporate Vice President of Special Projects before leaving to become a gaming consultant.
Mesquite Gaming has separately announced “extensive renovations” for the Katherine’s Steakhouse restaurant in CasaBlanca Resort & Casino and the race and sportsbook and gaming floor in Virgin River Hotel & Casino.
“These exciting projects further illustrate our commitment to upgrade the quality of these two destination properties for our guests and employees,” Moore said about the renovations.
Katherine’s Steakhouse in CasaBlanca Resort & Casino will undergo remodeling to create a new lounge and expanded bar area. Meanwhile, the new race and sportsbook at the Virgin River Hotel & Casino will expand to include several new 85” sized monitors along with a huge 53’ wide x 10’ high video wall, while the gaming floor will feature 90 additional slot machines.
These improvements are in addition to the recently announced $6 million renovations at CasaBlanca Resort which include a new center bar, sports bar, and 200 more slots on the gaming floor.
