BetBoom, a high-tech gaming holding company, continues its expansion in Latin America. The company announced that it is among the companies that have applied for a federal license under the Ministry of Finance's Gambling Management System (SIGAP) to operate sports betting and online gaming in Brazil starting in 2025.
BetBoom recently successfully obtained licenses in Peru and Mexico, reflecting its focused strategy in the continent.
Founded in 2011, the company started operating in Latin America in 2022 and positions itself as an eSports bookmaker with a wide range of sports and gaming products. BetBoom is the broadcast partner of several CS2 tournaments in Portuguese, such as PGL Major Copenhagen, CCT, Yalla Compass, BetBoom Dacha, and Perfect World Shanghai Major. Furthermore, BetBoom partnered with the famous Brazilian podcast Flow in July.
In addition to eSports betting, BetBoom's product portfolio includes classic sports betting as well as thousands of gambling content.
"Obtaining the license in Brazil reflects our long-term strategy in this market, our desire to invest in marketing and various promotional channels in the country. We are interested in operating legally in Brazil and complying with all legal regulations, demonstrating transparency in business, as well as guaranteeing the security of users and their transactions," BetBoom stated in a press release.
