The aftermath of the long-awaited SBC Summit Lisbon 2024 is still reverberating, based on the words of the protagonists of one of the most awaited summits for the gaming industry in Europe.

During the development of the fair, from September 24 to 26, Yogonet had the opportunity to talk to Paulina Hovar, Regional Sales Manager of BGaming. Here are her views on the development of the summit, the situation of the industry, and the company's expectations for the future.

What can you tell us about the tradeshow? Did it meet or exceed your initial expectations?

The SBC 2024 show completely met my expectations and, in some respects, even exceeded them. We saw great interest in the BGaming booth, especially in our new collaboration with the Portuguese artist within our creative project 'When Art Meets Gaming'. In particular, our latest novelties, such as the Snoop Dogg Dollars game, and our marketing tools have attracted a lot of attention.

The main questions we received are related to game customization possibilities and our expansion strategy to new markets. SBC Summit is an excellent opportunity to network and strengthen relationships within the industry.

What are some of the highlights the company showcased at SBC Summit? What sets BGaming's current portfolio of game content apart, both in terms of technology and game mechanics?

While I would love to talk about all of our new releases, today I want to highlight one in particular: our long-awaited Snoop Dogg Dollars game. Since September 25, the game has been available exclusively on Roobet, and starting October 30, players around the world will be able to enjoy it on various platforms.

Snoop Dogg Dollars is our first celebrity collaboration, developed in partnership with Roobet and Casinolytics. The game incorporates the popular cluster-pay mechanic, with a top prize of 10,000x, plus an exciting bonus round, all in the unmistakable style of Snoop Dogg.

Something we are very proud of is that Snoop Dogg himself voiced the game, which adds a unique and authentic touch. I am convinced that this release will make a huge impact in the iGaming world, and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

In addition to its line-up of games, BGaming offers a number of marketing tools that have proven to be very successful on many platforms. What are some of the new ways BGaming has introduced to attract players?

To attract and retain players, we at BGaming have several effective marketing tools, such as Drop campaigns, the unique B-Rush Challenges, and our upcoming loyalty program, BGaming Loyalty, which will be launched in October.

As for Drop campaigns and B-Rush Challenges, we have achieved impressive results, proving that we are on the right track. In the last year alone, we launched 10 Drop campaigns (and have at least 7 more planned for the rest of 2024), with the participation of more than 1,655,000 players and more than 700 partners.

The B-Rush Challenges have also been a great success. In the last year, more than 40 challenges have been launched, with more than 20,000 players participating. These tools allow us to offer attractive and dynamic experiences that capture players' attention and keep them engaged.

BGaming is one of the largest iGaming providers in the European market. What are some of the markets you are targeting now and how would you describe the company's current position in the European market in general?

We are targeting key markets such as Spain, Portugal, and Latin America, as well as exploring opportunities for further growth in Eastern Europe. BGaming currently holds a strong position in Europe, offering high-quality products that meet the requirements of various regulated markets.

This year, we have managed to expand into new territories, such as Lithuania with UniClub, Bulgaria with InBet and Winbet, Armenia with Adjarabet, Slovakia with Tipos, and Africa with PremierBet. In addition, we have added many new partners in Romania.

We see great interest in our games, and that interest continues to grow as we expand our portfolio and adapt it to the local needs of players.

What are some of the major trends you see gaining momentum in the online gaming sector? Are there any significant shifts in customer preferences and market dynamics that you can highlight for us?

One of the main trends we are seeing is the interest in personalization, where operators are looking to offer more individualized gaming experiences tailored to each player's tastes.

In terms of customer preferences, players are increasingly interested in immersive and exciting experiences that include gamification elements. This allows them to feel more connected and engaged with the game.

I have not noticed radical changes in the market dynamics, as iGaming continues to evolve steadily, which is normal. However, the market is saturated with games, and it is now critical to not only offer a quality product, but also exceptional customer service and, where possible, provide additional services that enhance the overall experience.

As we enter the last quarter of the year, are there any new projects, plans or goals for the rest of 2024 that you can tell us more about? What is the next trade show BGaming will be attending?

At BGaming we are actively working to expand our presence in the Spanish and Brazilian markets, seeking to attract new partners in these strategic regions. Furthermore, we are in the process of certifying our products in Italy, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden, with a special focus on obtaining the license in Denmark, where we expect significant progress in the short term.

After Lisbon, I will be attending the SBC Summit Latin America at the end of October, and later in November, our team will be at SiGMA Europe in Malta, where we will be presenting new games and a new artistic collaboration within our "When Art Meets Gaming" project.
