The European Gaming Congress (EGC) 2024 has marked a new milestone by attracting a record number of delegates to its two-day conference in Warsaw. Organized by HIPTHER, the iGaming and GameTech event has grown in prominence, with attendance more than doubling compared to the previous year, reaching nearly 200 participants.

The 2024 edition of the Congress built on the success of previous years by introducing a broader and more diverse agenda. Participants engaged in multiple panels and workshops, covering a wide range of topics, from compliance and technology to fintech, blockchain, and marketing strategies.

The discussions highlighted emerging trends and offered practical solutions for navigating the competitive gaming industry. With Poland serving as one of the most vibrant iGaming markets in Europe, the Congress attracted key figures and organizations to explore both local and international markets.

In a notable addition to this year’s event, all attendees were awarded a Certificate of Professional Distinction, recognizing their participation and encouraging continued professional development in the industry. The highlight of the conference was the European iGaming Excellence Awards 2024.

Promatic Group, a Poland-based gaming company, was named Best iGaming Supplier, while Evoplay, a prominent game developer, won multiple accolades, including Best Game Developer and Best Mobile Gaming Provider. Other winners included SOFTSWISS, which was celebrated for its innovation in iGaming technology, and Ivan Montik, founder of SOFTSWISS, who was named iGaming Leader of the Year

Zoltan Tuendik, Co-Founder and Head of Business at HIPTHER, stated: “We are thrilled with the incredible success of the European Gaming Congress 2024, and we are grateful to our esteemed sponsors, participants, and the remarkable Polish Gaming Community who made it possible.

"We’re excited to announce our return to Warsaw for another year, but stay tuned – we have a few surprises in the works for the years ahead,” Tuendik said.

Sponsorship came from companies like Promatic Games, Xanada Investments, and BET, among others.
