Gaming technology provider BetConstruct, part of the SoftConstruct group, has announced a new strategic partnership with Ikigai Ventures, a venture capital fund focused on seed-stage investments in the gaming and frontier technology sectors. The collaboration will help fund and mentor emerging startups aiming to reshape the gaming sector.
Supported by the SiGMA Group, Ikigai Ventures was founded by industry veterans and visionary entrepreneurs with a mission to nurture innovative startups. By offering both financial support and global exposure, Ikigai aims to accelerate promising projects. BetConstruct’s alliance with Ikigai Ventures aligns with its focus on innovation and development.
SoftConstruct, the parent company, has sought to prioritize forward-thinking initiatives under the BetConstruct brand, including platforms like the Ortak x B.F.T.H. Arena Awards, which provide creators with a stage to present their groundbreaking products.
In a statement, Vigen Badalyan, Co-Founder of BetConstruct, stated: “We’re excited to join the Ikigai Ventures initiative. A lot of talented individuals are involved with the project, and we’re betting top dollar that it’ll succeed. This is the first time that such an initiative is taking place in our industry, and we’re proud to be a part of it,” said Badalyan.
Echoing this sentiment, Ikigai Ventures’ General Partner Eman Pulis stated: “I’ve been working with Vigen and his formidable team for the past ten years, and it has all amounted to an unmatched level of camaraderie. They bring their vast experience in the gaming and frontier tech sector to the table, making them a powerful force to partner with. I really could not ask for more.”
One of Ikigai Ventures’ first success stories is Wicked Games, a startup incubated by the fund that has already made its mark. Wicked Games recently won acclaim for its popular game Eye of Bahamut, which earned accolades at the 2024 Ortak x B.F.T.H. Arena Awards.
