Lottery and gaming solutions provider Skilrock Technologies has revealed its speaker lineup for the upcoming "Evolve, Unify, Thrive: LatAm Gaming Evolution" webinar, scheduled for December 3. - Rodrigo Cigliutti, Executive Director, CIBELAE (Moderator)
Rodrigo Cigliutti is the Executive Director at the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lotteries and Gambling - CIBELAE. His career spans around 30 years in the lottery business. Some of his most notable works were the coordination of the Map of Games of Argentina from 2009 to 2017; and the development of the Technical Degree in Games of Chance. This is the first university degree in Latin America for the sector of gaming, regulators, and companies. He has participated as a panelist and moderator in different editions of industry events such as the World Lottery Summit (WLS), CIBELAE, ALEA, ICE London, GLI Regulatory Board, Juegos Miami, Ibero-American Gaming Summit, among others.
- Alexandre Tauszig, Commercial Director, NGX
Alexandre Tauszig holds a degree in Engineering and a postgraduate degree in Industrial Administration from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo, Brazil. With a career spanning over two decades focused on IT and business-centric B2B project development, he has also mentored small startups in Brazil. For the past seven years, Alexandre has been involved in the iGaming and lottery industry, serving as LATAM Regional Manager at Skilrock and currently as Commercial Director at NGX. He is an active participant in LATAM sector events, including CIBELAE, and authored the eBook “Alea Jact Est,” which explores the lottery and gambling market in Brazil.
- Esmeralda Britton González, President, Junta de Protección Social (JPS)
Esmeralda Britton González is the President of the Board of Directors of the Social Protection Board (JPS) in Costa Rica, which administers the Government Lottery. Her political career includes roles as Minister of Women, Executive President of the National Women's Institute (INAMU), and Secretary for the Promotion of Women's Political Participation in the Partido Unidad Social Cristiana (PUSC). At JPS, she has modernized land-based games and introduced online lottery sales. Recognized by ICE London 2021, she also leads the WILL (Women In Lottery Leadership) program for Latin America, appointed by the WLA.
- Carlos Sanz. President, James Industries Mexico
Carlos Sanz, with degrees in Physics and Computer Science from Madrid, has led a distinguished career. From 1978-1982, he served as R&D Director at Recreativos Franco (Spain). Since 1983, he has been the Owner, President, and CEO of several companies under James Industries Mexico, specializing in coin-op and gaming. Carlos has held key roles in industry organizations, including Canieti and NYCE, contributing significantly to standardization and certification in electronics and IT. He served as CIO at Codere Mexico from 2006 to 2018, overseeing gaming systems. Currently, he offers consulting services in the gaming industry, focusing on land-based and iGaming activities.
- Teresita Benitez, Coordinator - Technology Commission, CIBELAE
Benitez us Coordinator of the Technology Commission of CIBELAE since 2018, representing the Asociación de Loterías Estatales de Argentina (ALEA). She is also Head of the IT Department at the Institute of Social Assistance of the Government of the Province of Formosa since 1996. Benitez holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering and a specialization in Quality Engineering from the National Technological University, Argentina. She has a distinguished career in the public sector, focusing on gaming regulation and operation, and offers consultancy services in the private sector. In academia, she teaches at the National Technological University (FRR) and the National University of Formosa, specializing in information and communication technologies.
- Carlos Alberto Contreras Pardo, Project Coordinator - LatAm, Skilrock Technologies
Carlos Contreras, Project Coordinator - Skilrock Technologies, manages the implementation of complex IT projects for lottery & gaming operators in the Latin American region. He is an Engineer with extensive knowledge in telecommunications and gambling domains. His experience comprises agile and hybrid project management methodologies, undertaking projects of high complexity, with a strong focus on agile and hybrid management methodologies. He is endowed with technical skills in IP Telephony, LAN/WAN design, CISCO, and Huawei technologies.
