Among the speakers will be the CEO and Co-Founder of Pay4Fun, Leonardo Baptista, the former President of the National Association of Gaming and Lotteries (ANJL) Wesley Cardia, the Vice President for Latin America, Caribbean, and Spain of GLI, Karen Sierra-Hughes, and the lawyer and former advisor to the Ministry of Finance José Francisco Manssur.
Baptista will participate in the panel 'Gambling, money laundering, and tax evasion: myth or reality?', scheduled for 11.00 am.
Eduardo Fernandez, one of the organizers of MIS, said in an official statement: "We are very pleased to bring this year's Mercosur iGaming Summit to Florianópolis. The iGaming market is solidly consolidating in Brazil, and the capital of Santa Catarina offers an ideal environment for us to discuss the regulation and opportunities that this sector can generate. Florianópolis has a notable technological vocation, and we believe that this, added to the economic potential of iGaming, will be an important engine for attracting investment, job creation, and regional development."
