In order to strengthen its presence in the LatAm region and meet the particularities of each market, the authorities of SAGSE Latam officially presented its new regional expansion strategy.
According to the announcement, starting in 2025 the brand will present specific editions under the names SAGSE South America and SAGSE Central America & Caribbean, thus maintaining the prestige and trajectory that characterize SAGSE Latam.
SAGSE South America will be held on March 19-20, 2025 at the Hilton Hotel & Convention Center in Buenos Aires, while SAGSE Central America & Caribbean will take place from May 6-8 next year at the Sortis Hotel Casino & Convention Center in Panama.
"The gaming industry in Latin America is going through a period of great dynamism, driven by regulatory developments, the adoption of new technologies, and growing investor interest. However, each sub-region presents its challenges and opportunities," said Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie, the company responsible for SAGSE events at the international level.
"Having two editions will allow us to offer focused attention to the local reality, as it will be adapted to the specific regulations, trends, content, and business needs of their geographic area; and greater efficiency in terms of handling today's key areas, such as networking among participants and strategic alliances with operators, regulators, suppliers, and investors, they will be able to choose the event that best fits their market objectives," the organizer emphasized.
"In addition, it allows us to evaluate and incorporate the presence of experts and key leaders in each edition, as we will have the participation of industry leaders, panelists, speakers, and regulators from the region we focus on, offering a deeper and more specialized vision," Burak detailed in an interview with Yogonet.
Thus, for the organizers, the SAGSE South America and SAGSE Central America & Caribbean events will be what they called "a natural extension of SAGSE Latam", since "they are not a replacement, but a strategic extension of the SAGSE Latam brand, which will continue to be the global umbrella that supports the prestige of the shows."
"The new brand architecture seeks to maintain the consistency and recognition that SAGSE has built over decades, while offering more flexibility and value to participants," he added.
Finally, Burak explained that this new model will result in important benefits for exhibitors and sponsors that accompany the events, since by offering focused editions, companies will be able to concentrate their efforts with greater segmentation, and also segmented visibility, integrating specific marketing programs, multichannel communication and strategic alliances with local media, ensuring more effective dissemination.
"We will soon provide more news, confirming the venues of our 2025 events and giving the industry all the details of these events, which are already in full development process. The reception we have had with the companies to which we presented the model has been very effective, resulting in stands and spaces already confirmed for both editions, we believe that we will very quickly complete the pre-sale quota we have planned, so we expect a 2025 of great growth for SAGSE throughout the Americas," Burak concluded.
