The online gambling sector in Brazil continues to grow, with audience growth of 24.45% in Q3 2024 compared to the same period last year. According to Similarweb data published by BNLData, the sector's platforms registered 3.983 billion visits between July and September, up from 3.201 billion in Q3 2023.
In addition, gambling sites attracted 102.5 million unique users per month, up 12.23% compared to the same period last year. Compared to Q2 2024, growth over the last three months was even more impressive: 196.69%.
Among the industry leaders, Betano ranks first with 101.6 million monthly visits and 46.3 million unique visitors, representing 7.66% of the market. Most of this traffic (85.9%) comes from mobile devices.
Bet7k.com, which led in the first two quarters of the year, fell to second place, but still grew by 22.18%, totaling 88.81 million monthly visits. Mobile accounted for 97.9% of the platform's traffic.
Also noteworthy is BetNacional, which now occupies the third position with 81.04 million monthly visits and 17.76 million unique visitors, and EstrelaBet, which recorded a significant growth of 820.32%, reaching 49.49 million visits.
The novelty of this quarter is the inclusion of Superbet in the top 10 most visited sites of the quarter. The platform, which did not appear in the previous quarter in the list of the 10 most trafficked sites, is now in seventh place with a growth of more than 5,000% 48.05% of monthly visits, and 13.92M unique visits. The site already has a market share of 3.62%. Of this audience, 5.6% is on desktops and 94.4% on mobiles.

Data shows that mobile access dominates the online gambling sector in Brazil, with most platforms registering more than 85% of their visits through this method. The data points to the ease of access and growing popularity of the platforms among Brazilian users.
Leading search keywords
The study also revealed the search terms most used by Brazilians to access betting sites. Among them, 'Round results' (43.1 thousand searches), 'Tigrinho' (28.4 thousand), and 'Loteria Popular' (27.5 thousand) topped the list. Interestingly, the famous game 'Tigrinho' appeared three times among the 11 most searched terms.
