Ohio’s 11 casinos and racinos earned a total of $198.2 million in gambling revenue in November 2024, marking an increase of $3 million from October. The November figures also show a year-over-year rise, as they surpassed the $186.1 million reported in November 2023, according to data from the Ohio Casino Control and Lottery Commissions.

These revenue numbers reflect the amount retained by the gambling establishments after paying out winnings, but before any state taxes or fees are applied.

Breaking it down, Ohio’s four full-scale casinos, which offer slot machines and table games like blackjack, reported $84.3 million in November. This is an improvement over the $80.4 million generated during the same month in 2023.

The state’s seven racinos, located at horse racetracks and offering only slot machines, brought in $113.9 million. This represents a solid increase from the $105.7 million recorded in November of the previous year. These totals exclude revenues from wagering on horse races.

Through the first eleven months of 2024, the state’s gambling establishments have seen little change in overall revenue compared to 2023. The total revenue up to November stands at nearly $2.2 billion.

In the Greater Cleveland market, MGM Northfield Park reported $25.2 million in November, up from $23.6 million the previous year. JACK Thistledown Racino earned $15.4 million, an increase from $14.6 million in November 2023. However, JACK Casino Cleveland saw a small decrease, bringing in $21.6 million compared to $21.4 million in the same month last year.
