The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has unveiled a series of enhancements totaling $65 million, aimed at elevating the guest experience. The improvements, which were introduced on Thursday, include the long-awaited reopening of the Fresh Harvest Buffet, a new gaming area featuring 350 slot machines, and the debut of 240 fully renovated smoke-free hotel rooms in the West Tower.

According to Seminole Hard Rock Tampa President Steve Bonner, the enhancements are a direct response to guest feedback and evolving preferences. "We're always attentive to what our guests want and need. They asked and we delivered," Bonner said during the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new gaming space.

A highlight of the renovations is the reopening of Fresh Harvest Buffet after Hard Rock struggled to bring back the popular dining option following its closure during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite logistical hurdles such as staffing shortages and supply chain challenges, the buffet has returned with a fresh look and an expanded menu that includes six live-action kitchens featuring a range of global cuisines.

The buffet, which operates from Thursday to Sunday, has already created 200 new jobs, bringing the resort's total workforce to 4,293 employees.

Guests lined up well before the official reopening at 11:30 a.m., eager to indulge in an array of dishes from American comfort food to Italian classics and an all-new International Station featuring taqueria, kebabs, and sushi.

Bonner acknowledged the challenges of restarting operations after a four-year hiatus, noting that ovens had to be reactivated and staffing ramped up within a short eight-week window. "Logistically, it's been kind of crazy," he said.

In addition to the buffet, the new gaming area has also attracted major attention. Situated in the space previously occupied by the food court, the space offers nearly 350 slot machines, catering to players of all levels with betting options ranging from one cent to $5, with maximum bets of up to $100.

The gaming floor features popular titles such as Aristocrat's Dragon Link and Phoenix Link, both of which have gained a reputation for high-value jackpots.

"After introducing live craps, roulette, and sports betting just over a year ago, we believe the new slots area just adds to the fully integrated casino experience for our guests," Bonner said.

Guests seeking luxury accommodations will find upgraded offerings in the newly renovated West Tower. The 240 redesigned smoke-free rooms, including Deluxe Rooms, Junior Suites, and the Gold Suite, showcase modern amenities and pay tribute to the Hard Rock’s music heritage with vinyl record-inspired artwork depicting iconic musicians. With these renovations, the resort now boasts a total of 802 guestrooms across its two hotel towers.
