Dracula Gaming Events announces cancellation of Cluj-Napoca event

Dracula Gaming Events' organizers have announced the cancellation of the event. "With the event date rapidly approaching, we have come to the difficult decision that the remaining time is simply not enough to execute Dracula Gaming Events at the premium level we envisioned," a press release states.

"Due to lower international interest in Cluj-Napoca, we have decided to take a bigger and more ambitious approach for the future of Dracula Gaming Events. Rather than moving forward with an event that doesn’t meet our full potential, we are reinterpreting the Dracula concept into something even more immersive, global, and impactful," the announcement reads.

The statement explains that over the past months, the organization has explored new ways to expand the reach and influence of Dracula Gaming Events. "Our vision goes beyond a single-location event - we want to create a movement that integrates Dracula’s unique identity into global gaming experiences," they detailed.

"By redirecting our resources, we can focus on high-value collaborations, co-branded industry activations, and special experiences that place Dracula Gaming Events on an even bigger international platform," the organization explained in its announcement.

"As an event that was positioned to set new benchmarks in iGaming conferences, we do not want to compromise on impact and effectiveness. Rather than proceeding under less-than-ideal conditions, we will refocus our efforts to align with the industry’s evolving needs." 

"We truly appreciate the support from our partners, speakers, and attendees—it’s been an incredible journey and we’re grateful to everyone who’s been part of it. While we won’t be hosting the event, we’re still committed to the iGaming community and look forward to staying connected in different ways," the organizers concluded.
