The Henderson Planning Commission has approved a 14.1-acre expansion for the Inspirada Station site, Station Casinos' latest project in the Las Vegas Valley, increasing surface parking capacity. The plan was approved unanimously Thursday in a 5-0 vote, with two commissioners abstaining due to conflicts of interest, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
The project requires zoning changes to add the new acreage to the existing 52.6-acre gaming enterprise district at Via Inspirada and Bicentennial Parkway. The proposal will go before the Henderson City Council on March 4, though Station Casinos has not yet provided a construction timeline.
The Inspirada Station site, planned since 2006, will include a 58,000-square-foot gaming area, a 6,670-square-foot banquet space, an 8,400-square-foot sportsbook, 201 hotel rooms, three specialty restaurants, an eight-box food hall, four bars, a 12-lane bowling alley, a six-box movie theater, and a surface parking lot with 1,708 spaces.
No public opposition was raised during the 15-minute hearing, and the new land meets distance standards for residences, schools, and churches.
In the meantime, Station Casinos, a subsidiary of Red Rock Resorts, is focused on expanding its Durango property in southwest Las Vegas. The $120 million project, which began last month, will add more than 25,000 square feet of new casino space, including a high-limit slot area and bar.
The expansion is expected to be completed by January 2026, along with a new covered parking garage that will offer nearly 2,000 spaces.
