Hours away from the start of a new edition of SBC Summit Rio, organizers expect to welcome over 15,000 attendees to the Riocentro convention center, a 275% increase over the 2024 edition.
From February 25-27, the event will bring together key representatives from global and regional operators, along with affiliates and influencers, a multitude of suppliers, regulators, government entities, and the media in an area of 70,000 m2.
According to SBC, this will be the first face-to-face opportunity to explore the latest developments and strategies in the new Brazilian market, where the regulation became effective on January 1, 2025, so one of its focuses will be to provide companies with the necessary knowledge to successfully enter and expand in Brazil and comply with the regulations.
Rasmus Sojmark, SBC's CEO and Founder, said: "For reasons known to all of us, Brazil is the talk of the industry at the moment. With this being the first event in the country since regulation, we have built the agenda to offer real, practical insights, whether you are looking to enter the market or have already taken your first steps."

"The goal is to help everyone make the most of the opportunities while being fully compliant," he added.
SBC Summit Rio organizers announced that to enhance the attendee experience, they will offer a desktop and mobile app, called SBC Connect.
The app offers features such as meeting scheduling, advanced search for event attendees, digital badges, an exhibition floor plan, an overview of the program, a complete list of companies, and real-time notifications.
In addition, the event features a conference program that will allow for in-depth analysis of the most pressing topics around leadership, payments and financial technology, membership, player protection, regulation, and compliance.
SBC Rio's opening speeches will feature Brazilian soccer legend Bebeto and key government officials who played a fundamental role in the sector's regulation process, such as Carolina Yumi, undersecretary of Prizes and Gambling of the Ministry of Finance; and Irajá Abreu, senator of Tocantins.
Alongside the keynote speakers, the program will feature Brazilian industry experts, including Arthur Silva (CEO of Alfa Entertainment), Alex Fonseca (CEO of Superbet), Amilton Noble (CEO of HEBARA), Fellipe Fraga (General Manager of EstrelaBet), Fernando Garita (CEO of Betsul), Ícaro Quinteiro (Operations and Marketing Director of Esporte Da Sorte) and Marcos Sabiá (CEO of Galera.bet).
Attendees will also be able to benefit from the Influencer Academy workshop, developed in partnership with Brazilian marketing company Propane, and designed to highlight the pivotal role of influencers in Brazil.
Furthermore, delegates with an all-access pass (VIP, Operator or Affiliate) will have the chance to take networking beyond the expo hall by participating in the 3v3 Football Championship and attending exclusive evening events, such as the Opening Party and the Official Networking Party.
The event will conclude with INFINITY RIO, the biggest party of the sector in Brazil, at the Riocentro amphitheater, with a luxury line-up: global electronic music icon Afrojack and Brazilian sensation DubDogz.
