Virginia: Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol's new poker room sees major success

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol’s newly-added poker room is proving to be a hit among guests in the Twin Cities.

According to casino officials, the poker room offers an upgraded experience for players, enhancing the overall entertainment atmosphere at the venue.

“The new poker room has been a tremendous success,” said Al Thompson, Vice President of Casino Operations at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol. “This addition has only enhanced the entertainment experience for our guests.”

The casino’s President, Allie Evangelista, echoed that sentiment, expressing excitement over the positive reception from patrons.

“We are thrilled to see our casino patrons enjoying the poker room,” Evangelista said in a statement to News Channel 11. “This exciting new gaming opportunity further cements Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol as a premier entertainment and gaming destination.”

The poker room features artwork inspired by musical icons, aligning with Hard Rock’s signature theme.

Hard Rock Bristol casino attracts over 110,000 visitors

Since its grand opening on November 14, the permanent Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Bristol in Virginia has seen an overwhelmingly positive response. In its first weeks, the venue welcomed over 110,000 guests, including 58,000 during the opening weekend.

The hotel also reported a 99% occupancy rate from Thursday to Saturday during that period. In just 12 days, the casino paid out more than $12 million in jackpots, with $7.3 million awarded during its debut weekend.
