IGT PlayDigital expands with Brazil and Puerto Rico launches, adds new titles to Cash Eruption brand

iGaming and sports betting solutions provider IGT PlayDigital has kicked off 2025 with significant growth, including its entry into Brazil’s regulated iGaming market, expansion across Latin America, and the launch of sports betting operations in Puerto Rico. The company also unveiled new Cash Eruption slot titles, adding to its portfolio.  

IGT PlayDigital has launched its gaming content in Brazil, partnering with multiple top-tier operators. Players in the newly regulated market can now access popular titles such as Gold Digger, Cash Eruption, Cleopatra, and Fortune Coin.

As part of its growth strategy for the Brazilian market, the company showcased its offerings at SBC Rio from Feb. 25-27.  

IGT PlayDigital has also expanded in Colombia, going live with operator Wplay. Players now have access to IGT titles like Fortune Coin, Cats, Scarab, and Da Vinci Diamonds. The move leverages player familiarity with IGT’s land-based games while strengthening Wplay’s portfolio with high-quality digital gaming experiences.  

IGT PlaySports has further expanded in LatAm by launching with Ponce Plaza, marking its third customer in Puerto Rico. The casino’s new Playbets sportsbook utilizes IGT’s technology and trading advisory services for both retail and mobile sports betting.  

In terms of portfolio updates, IGT PlayDigital continues to expand its successful Cash Eruption brand with two new slot titles:  

• Cash Eruption Hoggin Cash (North America, March 5) – A pig-themed 3x5 slot featuring a Free Spins Bonus and Lock & Respin mechanics with immersive graphics and suspense-building elements. 
 
• Coins & Clovers Cash Eruption (EMEA, March 6) – A St. Patrick’s Day-themed 3x5 slot offering seasonal appeal, Free Spins Bonuses, and a Grand Treasure feature.  

Both games build on the strong performance of the original Cash Eruption slot, which topped Eilers & Krejcik’s Online Game Performance Reports in 2024. "The low cost-to-cover ratio makes both games accessible to a wide range of players, ranging from recreational to high-roller," the company says.
