The Malta Gaming Authority (MGA) has officially revoked Goldwin Limited’s gaming license, effective March 13, 2025. The decision follows a previous suspension of the company’s license on September 25, 2024, after multiple regulatory breaches.

Goldwin Limited, holder of license number MGA/B2C/533/2018, was found in serious violation of the Gaming Compliance and Enforcement Regulations. The MGA cited Goldwin’s failure to fulfill obligations towards its players and delays in meeting operational commitments. According to the authority, these breaches posed an imminent threat to player interests, prompting both the suspension and the final cancellation of the company’s license.

As a result of this decision, Goldwin Limited is required to notify all players of the cancellation through electronic mail and by publishing the notice on its website(s) for a period of 30 days. The notification must also provide instructions to players on how to withdraw any remaining funds by directing them to the MGA’s ticketing system.

Additionally, the company is obligated to settle all outstanding fees due to the authority within five working days from the effective date of the cancellation.

Goldwin Limited must also immediately remove any reference to the MGA and the canceled authorization, in accordance with Article 51 of the Gaming Act (Chapter 583 of the Laws of Malta).

The decision is subject to appeal in terms of Article 43 (1) of the same Act.
