Sports betting and media company Betr will sponsor NASCAR's Ricky Stenhouse Jr, driver of the No. 47 Chevrolet Camaro, at the Straight Talk Wireless 400. The race will take place at the Homestead-Miami Speedway this Sunday, March 23rd, at 3:00 PM EDT.
After a strong showing last Sunday at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the driver hopes to keep the momentum rolling at another intermediate track. After starting in the back of the field due to adjustments, Stenhouse showed his speed straight off the bat as he finished the first stage in 12th.
He followed that up to run in the top 10 and finish Stage 2 in 10th. Contact on a restart in the final stage forced an unscheduled pit stop and hurt his chances at a top-10 finish, and Stenhouse was forced to settle for 18th. Still, Stenhouse has yet to finish worse than 21st in the five races so far this year. A stark contrast from last season where he finished outside the top 30 twice in the first five races.
Sunday’s Straight Talk Wireless 400 will mark Stenhouse’s 14th NASCAR Cup Series start at the 1.5-mile track south of Miami. In his 13 prior starts, Stenhouse has earned three top-15 finishes with a best finish of 13th, earned in February 2021. He has finished inside the top 20 a total of six times in the series.
Stenhouse welcomes a new sponsor this weekend at Homestead with Betr. Founded in 2022 by Joey Levy and Jake Paul, Betr is a sports gaming and media company blending sports and entertainment.
