The SiGMA Poker Tour (SPT) is set to make its highly anticipated debut in Brazil from April 9–14, bringing world-class poker action to São Paulo’s Monte Carlo Poker Club. The event will feature a €250,000 ($271,262) guaranteed prize pool, high-stakes competition, and exclusive VIP events.
The tournament, known for blending gaming with networking, will bring together top poker professionals, industry leaders, and SPT ambassadors, including former footballer John Arne Riise, Norwegian poker champion Drea Karlsen, and social influencer Jon Vlogs.
The Brazil stop will also mark the first-ever Hendon Mob Latam Championships (THMC Latam), in partnership with Global Poker Index and The Hendon Mob.
Roland Boothby, Head of Partnerships at GPI/The Hendon Mob, expressed excitement about the expansion into Latin America: “The entire team at Global Poker Index and The Hendon Mob is thrilled to enter the Latin American market for the first time alongside the SiGMA Poker Tour.
“SiGMA is renowned for its world-class conferences and networking events, and I have full confidence in the ability of the SiGMA Poker Tour to seamlessly connect these elements with the international poker scene.”
Held at the Monte Carlo Poker Club, the tournament promises a luxurious setting, with players staying at the Hilton Morumbi. Attendees can choose between two premium packages:
• Standard Package: Includes Main Event buy-in, five-night stay, access to the BiS SiGMA Americas Official Party, unlimited open bar and buffet, conference entry, and an exclusive meet-and-greet with SPT ambassadors.
• VIP Package: Adds premium seating at the Centurion MMA fight night and access to an exclusive VIP celebration.
In addition to the tournament, attendees will have access to high-profile networking events, iGathering dinners, and entertainment, including MMA fight nights. The SiGMA Foundation will also extend its initiatives to São Paulo, ensuring a positive impact on the local community.
