SAGSE South America 2025 concluded yesterday its 33rd edition in Buenos Aires, with organizers giving very positive feedback on this week's event at the Hilton Hotel & Convention Center.
"The outcome was excellent and fills us with pride. We worked very hard for a year to deliver once again an exclusive and high international-level event in Buenos Aires, designed to be productive for exhibitors and effective for the time required by today's visiting operators and regulators, and the result exceeded our estimates," Alan Burak, Vice-President of Monografie, told exclusively to Yogonet as the event came to an end.
"Attendance was massive, the pre-accreditations were already showing great interest and we had some 3,500 visitors, which reflects 25% more than in 2024. The support from international companies was overwhelming and everyone's satisfaction is the best way to sum up the outcome," he added.
During Wednesday, March 19, and Thursday, March 20, Monografie opted for a very effective format for exhibitors, in an exclusive setting within the Hilton Hotel in the heart of Puerto Madero, with closed accreditations and by invitation only. Far from thinking that this profile would generate less attendance, it managed to increase the presence of national and international operators and attract Argentina's main regulators.
Second day and great attendance
Yesterday, starting at 3:00 p.m., the conference repeated what was experienced on Wednesday, with a mix of networking and product exhibition, which attracted hundreds of executives and entrepreneurs, with a hallway full of people until its closing, minutes after 8:00 p.m.
The international character of the visitors was another of the points highlighted by the organizers: "This year we are betting on a regional expansion and on organizing our offer of events through three identified events. This week we experienced an excellent edition of SAGSE South America in Buenos Aires, but it will only be our first step in 2025, since we still have SAGSE Central America and the Caribbean in Panama on May 6, 7, and 8; and then we will be at SAGSE Paraguay, on August 6 and 7 of this year," Burak explained.
"SAGSE was an unprecedented success and now our expectations are set to grow in Latin America. About this edition of SAGSE in Argentina, I believe that choosing the Hilton Hotel & Convention Center format was once again a successful move, and highly valued by exhibitors, who have already guaranteed their presence next year,” the organizer added, assuring that "overall, the evaluation of the companies present met our expectations, and the moment of economic recovery of the local market was also a great contribution to this success, which undoubtedly leaves us with a very high bar for 2026, where we want to grow and offer the best event in the region."
"We thank the support of the companies and entities participating in SAGSE, both exhibitors, sponsors, associations, and lotteries, and now we will work towards the future, satisfied with the outcome of this fair, but always with our minds set on improving and growing,” the organization added.
The Great Gaming Gala
To close the event, SAGSE South America 2025 celebrated last night a new edition of the Great Gaming Gala, an exclusive event at the Palermo Racetrack attended by authorities and top executives, which included two horse races sponsored by SAGSE's main exhibiting companies.
The refined facilities of the racetrack received a large number of visitors, and the party counted with an excellent catering service in which Argentine meats and wines stood out, as well as country products and international delicacies. At the time of the races, SAGSE authorities thanked the attendees for their support and presented the awards to the winners of the Giorgio Gennari Litta Grand Prix, closing the evening with live music and an event of the highest level.
