MGM Resorts International announced that its loyalty program, MGM Rewards, is introducing new benefits in 2025, giving members more ways to earn and enjoy perks.
The updates include expanded tier matching with Marriott Bonvoy, upgraded cruise benefits with Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, the launch of Milestone Rewards, a new MGM Rewards eGift Card, and an upcoming MGM Rewards credit card.
“We are elevating our rewards program and creating more ways than ever to earn and enjoy benefits across the world and at sea," said Anil Mansukhani, MGM Resorts' Vice President of Loyalty Marketing. "We listened to feedback from our members and wanted to recognize and reward guests' advancements throughout every level, which is our central focus in delivering a best-in-class loyalty experience."
MGM Rewards members will now receive enhanced tier matching with Marriott Bonvoy. Pearl Members will gain Silver Elite status, Gold Members will receive Gold Elite, Platinum Members will continue with Gold Elite, and NOIR Members will retain Ambassador Elite, Marriott’s highest tier. Accounts already linked will automatically update.
Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises perks are also improving. Platinum and NOIR members will now access upgraded staterooms and longer itineraries through the Annual Cruise Benefit. Gold Members are now eligible for this benefit. All MGM Rewards members will receive an Onboard FreePlay benefit when booking through MGM Rewards offers.
The new Milestone Rewards program will give members extra benefits between tier upgrades. Rollover Tier Credits will help members reach a higher status faster in 2026. Earning 50,000 Tier Credits in 2025 will roll over 7,500 credits, while 125,000 Tier Credits will roll over 17,500 credits. Members will also receive milestone perks, including $100 Tier Celebration Credit for Gold Members, $200 credit + up to $600 in air travel for Platinum, and $500 credit + up to $1,200 in air travel for NOIR.
MGM Rewards is also launching an eGift Card, redeemable at 20 destinations, including Bellagio, ARIA, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay, Borgata, and MGM National Harbor. It can be used at hotels, restaurants, bars, spas, and retail locations. Eligible members will receive exclusive offers for purchasing eGift cards.
Looking ahead, MGM Rewards is preparing to introduce a new credit card that will provide members with an enhanced way to earn points and Tier Credits.
