The SiGMA Poker Tour (SPT) is set to make its highly anticipated Brazilian debut from April 9 to 14, bringing world-class poker action to São Paulo.
With a $250,000 guaranteed prize pool, players will compete in a five-day poker event featuring exclusive VIP experiences, luxury accommodations, and networking.
The event will also host the first-ever Hendon Mob Latam Championships (THMC Latam). Roland Boothby, Head of Partnerships at GPI/The Hendon Mob, highlighted the significance of the expansion, calling it a major step in connecting the global poker community with the fast-growing Latin American market.
"The Hendon Mob Championship (THMC) live events are a key tool in connecting the international poker community with up-and-coming live events and tours, and we expect this partnership to build on the success of previous collaborations with Ivonne Montealegre,” he said.
The Monte Carlo Poker Club, renowned for its top-tier facilities and electric poker atmosphere, will host the event. Players will have the opportunity to compete alongside SPT ambassadors such as John Arne Riise, Drea Karlsen, and LenVlogs, adding an exciting dynamic to the competition.
Beyond the poker tables, attendees can enjoy exclusive networking events, luxury dining experiences, and entertainment, including MMA fight nights. The SiGMA Foundation will also extend its initiatives to São Paulo, ensuring a positive impact on the local community.
Participants can choose from two premium packages. The Standard Package includes Main Event buy-in, five-night stay at Hilton Morumbi, access to the BiS SiGMA Americas Official Party, unlimited open bar and buffet at Monte Carlo Poker Club, conference entry, and a meet-and-greet with SPT ambassadors.
Meanwhile, the VIP Package includes all Standard Package benefits plus VIP access to an exclusive celebration and premium seating at the Centurion MMA fight night.
