On its second day at the Transamerica Expo Center in São Paulo (SP), BiS SiGMA Americas 2025 was once again a stage for networking, innovations, discussions, and business opportunities involving some of the most prominent players in the iGaming industry.

This Thursday, April 10, the event ‒ the first BiS SiGMA held after the regulatory framework for betting came into effect in Brazil ‒ ends. In an interview with Yogonet, the organizers gave a positive assessment of the fair and highlighted the fact that they managed to attract a relevant audience.

My goal is for the quality of the event to keep increasing: more relevant companies, more important lectures. That is what’s most important to me. I like it when entrepreneurs come here, have time to meet someone, discuss, and close a deal that lasts a lifetime. It’s a fair that brings together sellers and buyers,” said Alessandro Valente, co-founder of the event.

Valente highlighted the expectation surrounding the legalization of physical casinos ‒ a proposal that is currently awaiting a vote in the Senate. “There is a very big chance that, in 2026, we will already have casino legalization. Maybe that will already open the doors for the [next] event to legally host in the country the companies that may provide services and products to this physical industry,” he commented, adding that with this, the fair would grow in size.

The same positive assessment of the fair is shared by Carlos Cardama, also co-founder of BiS SiGMA Americas and CEO of Games Magazine Brasil. “The event is fundamental because we brought many politicians, and they are the ones who take to Brasília everything we are doing here. So, there is a very strong need to be able to demonstrate what this sector is, and I believe we achieved that widely,” he analyzed.

Among the authorities present were: Regis Dudena (Secretary of Prizes and Betting at the Ministry of Finance), Irajá Silvestre (Senator and rapporteur of the bill that legalizes physical casinos), Giovanni Rocco Neto (Secretary of Sports Betting and Economic Development in Sports), and Newton Cardoso Jr. (Federal Deputy from Minas Gerais).

The last day of the event brings, in its conference agenda, discussions on topics such as new payment technologies, combating the illegal market, mergers and acquisitions, and affiliates. The full schedule can be checked at this link.
