Station CasinosSTN Sports is set to begin operating sportsbooks at the Strip's Treasure Island and two Mesquite casinos in late May, pending final approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board unanimously recommended Station’s plans on Wednesday, which include establishing kiosk operations at Treasure Island on the Las Vegas Strip, as well as at the Casablanca and Virgin River resorts in Mesquite, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.

The Gaming Commission is scheduled to make a final decision on the proposal on April 24.

As part of Station's five-year agreements with the three properties, the initial setup will feature the Stadium Technology Group platform for placing sports wagers. Over time, Station will transition to the GameSTACK 2.0 platform, a new system developed by GAN Ltd., a California-based company.

Station and GAN announced the acquisition of GameSTACK 2.0 in December 2023. The new platform will enable in-game wagering and is billed as one of the few systems capable of supporting both sports and horse racing bets.

The three properties will also maintain separate employee agreements, ensuring that all current staff members retain their jobs, Jason Simbal, Director of Race and Sports Analysis at Station, assured.

At Treasure Island, the sportsbook will be branded as STN Sports at Golden Circle Sportsbook & Bar, with the team becoming Station employees. Meanwhile, workers at the Mesquite resorts will remain part of their respective properties' workforce.

STN Sports would manage 19 sportsbooks across the state once the three properties are added.
