Station Casinos is making its sportsbook debut on the Las Vegas Strip through a partnership with Treasure Island Hotel & Casino.
The companies revealed plans to open an STN Sportsbook inside The Golden Circle at Treasure Island, following regulatory approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission. The sportsbook is set to launch on April 29, marking Station Casinos' first sports betting foray in the Strip.
The venue will feature eight self-service kiosks, 74 high-definition screens and video walls, along with mobile registration stations for new users.
"We couldn’t be more excited to embark on this historic partnership with Station Casinos," Najam Khan, Executive Vice President and General Manager for Treasure Island, said in a statement. "This collaboration underscores our commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and entertainment, now integrated with Station Casinos’ innovative approach to sports betting."
The addition of STN Sportsbook is expected to enhance Treasure Island’s betting offerings and introduce Station Casinos’ popular sports contests to a broader audience. The property also plans to host exclusive sportsbook events throughout the year.
“Through this partnership with Treasure Island, we will be able to bring the energy, innovation, and hospitality of STN Sports to the property’s guests,” said Jason McCormick, Vice President of Race and Sports Operations.
Station Casinos will also expand its sportsbook presence beyond the Strip, with new locations at two Mesquite casinos: Casablanca Resort & Casino and Virgin River Hotel & Casino. While opening dates for those locations have not been disclosed, the additions will bring Station Casinos' total number of operated sportsbooks to 19.
At Treasure Island, sportsbook employees will become Station Casinos employees, while in Mesquite, the employees will remain under the auspices of the property owned by Mesquite Gaming.
