Cibelae opens registration for 2025 International Seminar 

Registration is now open for the highly anticipated Cibelae 2025 International Seminar, set to take place from June 24 to 26 in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil.

This year’s event, themed “Safe, Responsible, and Sustainable Gaming in Lotteries,” will bring together authorities, industry leaders, and experts from across Latin America to discuss the future of the lottery sector from an ethical, inclusive, and innovative standpoint.

Organized by Cibelae, in collaboration with the World Lottery Association (WLA) and Loterias do Estado do Paraná (Lottopar), the seminar will focus on best practices in responsible gaming, security, sustainability, and social responsibility.

Key topics include combating illegal gambling from a responsible gaming perspective, an overview and tools for WLA Certification in Responsible Gaming, prevalence studies and research, innovation in digital games and AI for responsible gaming solutions, product design with a responsible gaming focus, and responsible advertising practices. 

Other areas of focus will include sustainability as a foundation for growth in the lottery industry, the role of ESG principles in state lotteries, social responsibility tools developed by Cibelae, and a discussion on the role of women in the industry to promote gender equality for growth.

Among the speakers will be Andreas Kötter, President of the World Lottery Association (WLA); Javier Milián, President of the National Lottery of El Salvador; Esmeralda Britton, President of the Social Protection Board of Costa Rica; Daniel Romanowski, President of Lottopar (Paraná State); Francisco Petrônio de Oliveira Rolim, President of Lotep (Paraíba State); Lynne Roiter, Secretary General of the WLA; Kleber Paz, President of Loterias Caixa; Rodrigo Cigliutti, Executive Director of Cibelae; Diana Fusco, Coordinator of the Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility Commission of Cibelae (IJAN/ALEA); and Raúl Quiroga, Head of the Responsible Gaming Department of the Córdoba Lottery (Argentina), among others.
