SBC's Vice President of Marketing for the Americas, Cristian Robalino, described the next edition of SBC Summit Americas as an event designed to "promote the regional development of the sector, with relevant content and high-value networking spaces."

In an interview with Yogonet, he highlighted that the academic agenda of the event, to be held May 13-15 at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale (Florida), is designed to ensure that the Latin American and North American markets are represented “in an authentic and in-depth way."

He also highlighted the Affiliate Leaders Summit, which will represent "a key opportunity for affiliate marketers to connect, share experiences, and explore how digital marketing strategies can be leveraged."

SBC Summit Americas promises to be an event that will bring together the Latin American and North American markets. What are your expectations for this event?

We are truly excited about what SBC Summit Americas represents: An unprecedented opportunity to bring together key decision makers from across the region. By gathering leaders from Latin America and North America in a single event, we create a unique space where they can generate strategic connections, share key insights, and explore opportunities for expansion between markets that are increasingly interconnected.

There is great expectation around this edition: Many of our partners, exhibitors, and attendees have already expressed their enthusiasm for an event that, for the first time, brings them all together in one place. It is an event designed to promote the regional development of the industry, with relevant content and high-value networking spaces. We are sure that this edition will mark a before and after in the way the industry in the Americas meets, is inspired, and does business.

The conference series will bring together relevant decision-makers from both markets. What were the criteria for defining the topics for discussion at the event?

Our main criterion was to ensure that each market - Latin America and North America - was represented in an authentic and in-depth way. Therefore, this year we have designed two dedicated scenarios, one focused exclusively on key topics for Latin America and the other for North America. This allows us to address the challenges, opportunities, and nuances of each region with specialized content, without losing the holistic view of the industry in the Americas.

The topics were selected after a consultation process with our partners, speakers, and regular attendees, taking into account the most relevant trends: Artificial Intelligence, regulatory evolution, payments, responsible gaming, integrity, and much more. The goal was to build a solid, current, and high-value agenda for the different attendee profiles we will gather in Fort Lauderdale.

The event will also host the Affiliate Leaders Summit. What do you expect from this event dedicated to affiliate marketing professionals operating in North America and Latin America?

The Affiliate Leaders Summit represents a key opportunity for affiliate marketers to connect, share experiences, and explore how digital marketing strategies can be leveraged in the North American and Latin American markets.

This segment of the event is designed for affiliates, operators, and brands to work together, learn from best practices, and find new ways to maximize their impact in both markets. With the growth of sports betting, affiliate marketing plays a pivotal role in how brands connect with their audiences, and this summit will allow them to do just that.

What is the level of participation expected for the event, and what networking dynamics will be available to attendees?

We expect a very strong turnout, with key industry leaders from across Latin America and North America. From operators and suppliers to regulators, affiliates, investors, and startups, SBC Summit Americas is designed to facilitate strategic connections and meaningful conversations at all levels of the industry.

In terms of networking, we have created a dynamic and inclusive experience that goes far beyond formal meetings. We will feature themed spaces and gatherings designed for different communities within the industry, including the Global Gaming Women breakfast, the African Americans in Gaming Meetup, the SPGA Social Casino Mixer, and many more. These initiatives reflect our commitment to diversity and building strong, representative networks.

In addition, we have launched the SBC Connect App, a key tool for facilitating meet-ups and coordinating meetings directly on the show floor. And, of course, there will also be time to socialize in a more relaxed atmosphere: the opening party will take place at The Wharf, one of Fort Lauderdale's most iconic and lively venues, ideal for breaking the ice from day one.

And to top it all off, the closing party: The INFINITY Florida will feature a live performance by the legendary Steve Aoki - an unforgettable celebration to culminate a week full of content, connections, and community.

Responsible gaming and integrity are gaining momentum in the gaming industry. How will you address these issues at the event?

Responsible gaming is a key theme for us at SBC Summit Americas. We will have several sessions dedicated to this topic, including the Player Protection Symposium, which will bring together industry experts to address how companies can implement effective player protection policies and best practices to maintain the integrity of the game.

In addition, there will be panels on regulation, how policies vary across the different markets in the Americas, and what the industry is doing to protect players and ensure a safe and responsible gaming experience.

As you mentioned before, the closing party for SBC Summit Americas will be hosted by renowned DJ Steve Aoki. How did you plan this closing party, and what do you expect from the attendees?

The idea behind our INFINITY closing party is to offer a memorable experience that celebrates all that has been achieved during the week. We launched this concept at our previous editions in Lisbon and Rio de Janeiro, and the response was overwhelmingly positive. The energy, atmosphere, and connection between attendees were something truly special, so we knew we wanted to bring that same vibe to Fort Lauderdale.

For this edition, we wanted to elevate the experience even more; that's why we have the legendary Steve Aoki, who will put the finishing touch to the week with a spectacular performance. It's a perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy, and continue strengthening bonds in a more festive environment. We are sure it will be an unforgettable night for everyone at SBC Summit Americas.
