The Four Queens Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas has finished a $24 million renovation of its North Tower, with some of the updated rooms made available for guests last weekend.

The extensive renovation, which began in June 2024, included a complete overhaul of the tower’s HVAC and plumbing systems, along with a full remodel of all 300 guest rooms, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. The updates feature sound-dampening windows, expanded bathrooms, new carpeting and furniture, 50-inch TVs, mini-fridges, in-room coffee makers, and custom closet organizers.

It’s a pretty dramatic change. These are totally different rooms,” said Tim Lager, General Manager of Four Queens. “But it was needed.”

The project was completed on time and on budget, according to Lager. Although not all rooms are fully furnished yet, the property will begin opening one to two floors each week, with full availability expected by early September.

Originally opened in 1966, the North Tower was last renovated in 1999. Its counterpart, the 400-room South Tower, underwent a separate renovation in recent years.

Four Queens and nearby Binion’s Gambling Hall are owned by TLC Casino Enterprises, led by Las Vegas businessman Terry Caudill. Caudill acquired Four Queens in 2003 and Binion’s in 2008.

Rates for the renovated rooms start at $69 per weekend night. Four Queens does not charge resort fees. All rooms will be non-smoking starting August 15.
