GGPoker to sponsor Grosvenor Casinos’ live poker events across the UK

GGPoker will become the official sponsor of live poker events held at more than 35 Grosvenor Casinos venues across the United Kingdom, under a new partnership covering more than 50 live tournaments.

The agreement links the online poker operator with Grosvenor Casinos’ live poker schedule, which includes tours such as The Goliath, the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour, the UK Open, The Behemoth, G200, and G300. Grosvenor Casinos is one of the main operators behind live poker tours in the UK.

The first satellites linked to the partnership are already available on GGPoker, including qualifiers for The Goliath, the largest poker tour outside Las Vegas. Players will also be able to buy in directly through the GGPoker client for eligible Grosvenor events.

Under the arrangement, players who qualify online or buy in through GGPoker will be eligible for cash boosts and other tournament-related benefits. The offer includes a 20% cash boost at all Goliath, G200, and G300 events, and a 10% cash boost at all GUKPT events. Other promotions include a £5,000 last-longer bet at Goliath, as well as on-site perks such as merchandise.

The first GUKPT event under the new arrangement is scheduled to take place from May 14 to 24 at Grosvenor Casino Luton. Players who make the money at that event and secure their seat through GGPoker will receive a 10% cash boost. G200 events in Bolton, Reading, and Walsall are also due to take place in the final week of May, with eligible players set to receive a 20% cash boost along with other partnership-related benefits.

The partnership is also aimed at online poker players in the UK and those in the .com player pool who want to access Grosvenor live events through online qualification routes. The arrangement is intended to make live events more accessible to recreational players and online low-stakes players.

The deal follows GGPoker’s purchase of the World Series of Poker brand in 2024, after which the company has continued to associate its brand with major poker events internationally.
