Saratoga Casino Hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York State, opened its new sports bar last Friday. The Mane Bar is located just inside the entrance to the casino and features 24 television 360-degree multimedia screens to view sporting events, surrounding the bar on two tiers. The casino celebrated the grand opening of the bar with several promotional giveaways and drink specials throughout the weekend.

In addition to viewing sporting events, guests will be able to wager on horse racing from tracks across the country. The bar is illuminated with a high-tech, dynamic lighting system that will allow the casino to change the overall ambiance of the bar by adjusting the lighting options.

Also, it offers 20 beer taps featuring a variety of local craft selections; and an a la carte menu offering high-end pub fare, including lobster sliders, wagyu steak sandwiches and truffle parmesan Saratoga chips, according to a news release.

The bar opening completes the first phase of an $8 million renovation, which also included the new VIP lounge and high-limit area, opened on October 24. The next phase of work includes new lighting, carpeting, upgraded casino bathrooms and adding self-service beverage centers. Additional phases of the project will be completed over the next several months with the full renovation expected to be done by the second quarter of 2020.

Once complete the entire look of the casino floor will match the new look of the bar and high limit slot area and more closely align with the modern architecture and design featured in the casino’s hotel.

“We’re excited for our guests to see what’s been going on behind the walls,” said Alex Tucker, General Manager of Saratoga Casino Hotel. “With the opening of the bar and the high limit area our guests are now able to get a sense of what to expect the entire property to look like once the project is complete.”
