Under Moore's direction, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady was named the number one tourist destination in New York’s Capital Region.

Last week, Rush Street Gaming revealed that Justin Moore, former general manager of Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, has been named GM of Rivers Casino Philadelphia.

Moore, who helped establish the Rivers Casino brand in a new and competitive market, operated The Landing Hotel and debuted New York’s first sportsbook, joined Rivers in Schenectady soon after the property opened in 2017.

Greg Carlin, CEO of Rush Street Gaming and Rivers Casino stated: “Rush Street’s accelerated growth in destination and online gaming has created more opportunities for career development inside the company. After a successful four-year term in Upstate New York, we’re very pleased to welcome Justin to Philly.”

Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady, under Moore’s guidance, was named the number one tourist destination in New York’s Capital Region, in fact, hosting the “I Love New York” Empire State Tourism Conference at Rivers’ Event Center. He also introduced and produced the annual “Harbor Jam” summer concert series for the adjacent Mohawk Harbor Amphitheater, and the Albany Times Union has repeatedly named Rivers Casino & Resort a “Top Workplace,” lauding its positive workplace culture.

“Eleven years after opening, Rivers Philly has a large number of day-one employees, which speaks volumes about their commitment to the property. I’m excited for this new opportunity and proud to remain in the Rush Street family—thanks to our Team Members in Schenectady and in Philly for their continued support”, said Moore.

In 2010, Rivers Casino Philadelphia was among the first casinos to open in a major metropolitan market, outside of Las Vegas and Atlantic City. The casino boasts an expansive gaming floor with approximately 1,600 slot machines, 105 live table games, 65 electronic table games, and a 28-table dedicated poker room. Rivers Philly features an Event Center and a variety of bars and restaurants including a high-end steakhouse, Hugo’s Frog Bar & Chop House, and casual eatery Jack’s Bar + Grill. The Delaware Avenue riverfront destination is also home to BetRivers Sportsbook, powered by BetRivers.com, and open 24/7.
