Digitain's sister company Galaxsys will showcase its latest novelties at the upcoming edition of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), to take place in Las Vegas from October 10th to 12th. A few days ahead of the event, Yogonet spoke with Gil Soffer, the SVP of Sales & Business Development at Galaxsys, who discussed the company's expectations for the show, as well as insights into the products to be showcased and provisions for the remainder of 2023.

What are your expectations for Galaxsys participation in G2E Las Vegas in terms of conversations with clients and networking opportunities?

G2E Vegas is one of the landmark industry shows of the year that sees an international delegation of attendees from across the world.

Galaxsys are leaders in the non-traditional games space and we are targeting North America and LATAM. We are here to raise awareness of our 30+ fast, crash, and skill games portfolio. We look forward to meeting with existing tier 1 partners and welcoming new partners interested in offering new engaging gaming content to their casino lobbies.

What does this participation at G2E mean for Galaxsys, especially given the prestige of the event?

Galaxsys is still a young company in the B2B iGaming supply chain, but we have made substantial progress this year. G2E, which has such a great history as a leading event and a destination for land-based and online gaming, makes total sense for our business to attend and network with all our industry peers.

We are looking forward to the entire experience that G2E offers. It shall be hectic but fun, given the energy and vibe of the event. We look forward to the networking opportunities, as they provide a more relaxed environment to discuss the business and general market trends.

Where do you see the online gaming industry headed? Any particular trends, both in terms of customer demand and industry regulation, that you are watching closely?

From an industry trend, we are seeing a generational change from slot and other traditional games to crash, plinko, mines, instant, and other fast and skill games.

That is why Galaxsys has focused on non-traditional gaming and fast, crash, and skill games. These genres of games are proving high growth as players seek a more simplified in-game engagement for a quicker, almost on-demand experience when they have the time to play within their busy digital and real lives. An example of this is Ninja Crash which exemplifies this trend and is a fan-favourite game from the world of social gaming and is now available in iGaming format from Galaxsys.

Also, players wish to feel more in control of the game's playability, and fast and crash games provide a more streamlined UI and straightforward features, which allow less complicated decisions by the player and, therefore, the player feels more engaged.

From a regulatory standpoint, our business is committed to licensing and certification. We now have certificates from MGA and Curacao and a presence in Romania, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, the Republic of Srpska, Switzerland, Colombia, Greece, entering Italy, and more markets, mainly in Europe, Asia, and LATAM countries.

What should we expect from Galaxys for the remainder of the year? What other industry events does the company plan to attend in the near future?

We have over 30+ games in our Galaxsys portfolio. We shall be showcasing our games at the G2E show, including Ninja Crash, Totem, Magic Dice, Bingo Star, Lotto Boom, and Turbo Mines, with unique bonus features, exclusive content, in-game promo tools like Leaderboard and Freebet bonuses, again to facilitate player acquisition, retention, reactivation, and revenue growth. We shall release a few more before the year's end.

We now have 150+ global partners distributing our games and shall continue to announce some more deals in the coming months. Regarding industry events, our last one of the year shall be SiGMA Europe in Malta in November, and then it's a much-needed rest for our team before we start again with ICE in February.
