Merkur Gaming has shared its excitement for the upcoming edition of G2E Las Vegas, to take place next month at The Venetian, October 9 - 12, while also providing an overview of what to expect from it at the meeting. The company said it is "ready, willing and most definitely excited" to welcome all of its media colleagues and friends once again to the meeting.
Merkur's booth, number 3353 in the Sands Expo Center, will be in its familiar usual
location but now with "a whole new look and feel." Brand new for G2E 2023, Merkur presents a new booth that has been specially designed to create more ‘walk around’ space between the product displays, thus easier for booth visitors to see and reach the particular products. Food and beverage hospitality will also be available.
"It is always great to be back in Las Vegas and of course also to once again participate very strongly in G2E. The show is a significantly important B2B event for MERKUR to maintain and expand business relations with our Latin American customers," said Athanasios ‘Sakis’ Isaakidis, Chief Executive International of Merkur Gaming.
"G2E is only bettered by ICE, which we think of as our ‘home’ event and which is each year, our most important business opportunity. So, certainly, we are all excited about G2E. It is a great opportunity to showcase our development and enables us to provide answers and solutions to the needs of the international market."
On the upper floor of the booth, attendees will discover the Merkur Bar, significantly upgraded for this year and is described as a comfortable space to sit, relax and hold
more informal meetings over a beverage of the visitor's choice.
As well as the headline Merkur displays there will also be product presentations from sister companies GeWeTe, edict egaming and Bede Gaming. With more than 60,000 systems installed worldwide, the Gauselmann subsidiary GeWeTe was founded in 1993, and has its head office in Mechernich, Germany, along with its own subsidiary companies in Spain, Italy, Bulgaria, Peru and the UK/Ireland.
"The GeWeTe brand is one of the world leaders in the cash handling area of the
gaming industry and holds a very high reputation for its product innovation and its excellent sales and service capabilities," said Merkur in a statement. You can revisit Yogonet's interview with the company ahead of G2E here.
Based in Hamburg, Germany, and founded in 1998 edict egaming GmbH operates in gaming’s B2B segment and specializes in the sale of games for the online casino market. The company licenses games for numerous regulated gaming jurisdictions and
unlocks them for various online platforms.
Working independently, but side-by-side with edict, Bede Gaming was formed in 2011 as a supplier in the development and provision of online gaming platforms for casino, lottery, sports betting and bingo operators. Located in Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK and with additional offices in Sofia, Bulgaria and Toronto, Canada, the company has been majority-owned by the Gauselmann Group since 2020.
"G2E 2022 was a fantastic ‘comeback’ for the show after the disaster scenario of the covid pandemic. The atmosphere was great, and it allowed the gaming industry to come together and start a new chapter in businesses at every level. But this year will be the real test. G2E has to step up and create a new international standard," Isaakidis added.
"A year on, manufacturers have had the time to develop new technologies and new solutions and operators have seen the crowds return in numbers, proving that the appetite for gaming entertainment is stronger than ever. We have seen the recovery in the industry and that is why we come to G2E this time to show new solutions for our operational customers and to create, in our business environment, a whole new ‘high’.
