BetMGM named Digital Operator of the Year at Global Gaming Awards
iGaming and sports betting operator BetMGM was named Digital Operator of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards. The awards aim to recognize "the best in the gaming industry" ahead of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E). BetMGM also was named Digital Operator of the Year in 2021.
BetMGM’s award submission touted its strong financial performance in FY2022 with $1.44 billion in net revenue surpassing its $1.3 billion projection. Factors that contributed to BetMGM’s growth include product improvements, reduced customer acquisition costs and a better bonus strategy.
Over the past year, BetMGM launched sports betting in three states and Ontario. BetMGM was recognized for offering "the nation’s largest exclusive state-by-state in-house progressive jackpot network," a large variety of games, first-class partnerships, and an omnichannel focus.
As it expands to new jurisdictions, BetMGM highlighted responsible gaming education remains a key focus. BetMGM stated that it is proud to provide resources to help customers play responsibly, including GameSense, an industry-leading program developed and licensed to MGM Resorts by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation.
Through the integration within BetMGM’s mobile and desktop platforms, customers can receive the same GameSense experience they acces at MGM Resorts properties nationwide.
