EGT has signed a five-year partnership with the Morning Run race, an event traditionally organized by the Sports Club "Begach" in Borisova Gradina, Sofia. As part of the agreement, the run will be renamed as EGT Morning Run.
Traditionally scheduled for the last Sunday of October, this year's race will take place on October 29 at 09:00, consolidating its 12th consecutive edition.
Those wishing to take part have several distance options: 5, 10 or 20 km. As well as individual runners, teams are also invited to register and compete. Meanwhile, the "Kids Run" competition will offer children aged 4 to 13 the chance to run a distance of 600 meters.
The EGT Morning Run will donate part of the proceeds from the event to charity, namely the "Healthy and Active with Care for the Mountain" association of SOS Children's Villages Bulgaria, whose main purpose is to encourage physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among youngsters in residential care and to bring them to the cause of environmental protection.
"We at EGT believe that practicing sports is very important, and our decision to become a partner of Morning Run reflects this belief of ours," said Vladimir Dokov, CEO of EGT. "I am confident that this event will boost the promotion of the active lifestyle among people of different ages, and I am happy that our company will also contribute to this."
