Idaho's Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel, located in Worley, has appointed Rick Williams as Director of Gaming. Williams, a veteran in the casino gaming industry, brings 22 years of experience to the role. During his career, he developed an understanding of gaming performance analytics and player behavior.
He began his career in the gaming industry in 2001 as a gaming technician. Since then, he has held key director-level positions during the successful opening of four casino properties, a press release said.
Recently, he was the senior director of gaming operations for Kentucky-based Churchill Downs Incorporated, operator of horse-racing entertainment venues, online wagering businesses, and casinos. He played a pivotal role in designing the gaming floor layout for two of CDI's historical horse-racing properties.
The Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort Hotel features a 60,000-square-foot casino floor with nearly 1,200 video gaming machines, the Inland Northwest's only video gaming machine testing room, an exclusive high-limit room, a 40,000-square-foot bingo hall, and ongoing monthly promotions. The casino is 28 miles from the Spokane Valley, Washington and 25 miles south of the city.
