California: Pechanga Resort Casino voted 'Best Casino outside Las Vegas' by Newsweek readers

Pechanga Resort Casino was recently named the "Best Casino Outside Las Vegas" according to a Newsweek readers' survey. This accolade followed the national magazine and website's request for their readers to vote for their favorite resort/casino outside of Las Vegas. The competition included top resorts from California, the Southwest, the South, Colorado, Reno, and others.

Ten resorts made the cut for the top 10 including two others in Southern California,  with Pechanga Resort Casino emerging as the clear winner.

Situated among the country's largest resorts/casinos, Pechanga Resort Casino stands out with its facilities. The resort features 1,100 hotel rooms and suites, 12 restaurants, two show venues, a two-story luxury spa, an 18-hole golf course, and a 200,000 square foot casino.

In addition to the Newsweek survey, Pechanga Resort Casino was also chosen as the favorite casino by readers of the Orange County Register in a poll conducted in late summer of 2023. A total of 25 southern California tribal casinos were eligible for the distinction in the annual Best of Orange County poll.

In addition to the Best Casino distinction, readers also named Journey at Pechanga the region's best golf course. Journey's End, the restaurant inside the golf course clubhouse, was chosen as the favorite in the region for breakfast and brunch.
