Erin Frostad of Mohegan Sun earns top honors in Ragan's 2024 Women in Communications Awards

Erin Frostad, Team Member Communications & Involvement Manager for the Mohegan Sun resort, was named by Ragan as part of their Top Women in Communications Awards, Class of 2024.

Frostad’s recognition for this awards program is alongside other honorees within the Dynamic Doers category. This specific category recognizes women known for their hands-on approach to accomplishing tasks, going above and beyond to achieve results.

“This recognition by Ragan is an incredible and well-deserved honor for Erin,” said Don Trella, VP of Human Resources for Mohegan Sun. “Erin is a gifted and hard-working communicator who truly helps build the tremendous employee-centric work culture that has grown at Mohegan Sun. She does this ever-important work with kindness, passion and a goal-orientated mindset and we couldn’t be prouder of her.”

Frostad will be celebrated alongside other accomplished women at the Top Women in Communications Awards Luncheon, which will take place on February 29th at the City Winery in New York City. The event will bring together industry leaders to acknowledge and celebrate the accomplishments of the honorees.

As Team Member Communications & Involvement Manager at Mohegan Sun, some of Frostad’s primary responsibilities include developing, implementing and evaluating internal communication strategies focused on leadership, healthcare, community involvement and key business updates.

Mohegan Sun offers team member benefits and awards programs as well, and Frostad helps ensure impactful internal communication outreach for these programs. Additionally, Frostad manages internal engagement strategies and programs for Mohegan Sun.

As for other awards received by the resort and its team members, Mohegan Sun’s parent company, Mohegan, was also named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces for Diversity 2024 by Newsweek.
