Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM partner for rewards integration through sports betting, online casino

Marriot Bonvoy, the travel program by Marriot International, and BetMGM have announced a rewards collaboration aiming to provide additional incentives to bettors of the brand, allowing them to earn rewards while engaging in sports betting activities. 

Through this collaboration, players located in licensed states will have the opportunity to link their Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM accounts and earn BetMGM Rewards points when participating in sports betting or playing at the online casino using the BetMGM app.

These earned points can then be exchanged for Marriott Bonvoy points, up to 100,000 points annually, which offer access to various experiences, including free nights at Marriott Bonvoy's portfolio of hotels worldwide. 

The integration between Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM will provide linked accounts with access to exclusive games, experiences, and offers on the BetMGM platform, according to a press statement announcing the partnership.

To commemorate the launch, Marriott Bonvoy and BetMGM are offering members the chance to win a trip to Los Angeles curated by basketball star Blake Griffin. The 'Ultimate LA Gateway' sweepstakes will grant one member and up to three friends an exclusive experience, including roundtrip airfare, a three-night stay at the Santa Monica Proper Hotel, and a packed itinerary with stops at Griffin's favorite restaurants and box seats to a comedy show. 

Eligible members who link their accounts between March 18 and April 8, 2024, may enter the opportunity to win the 'Ultima LA Getaway' sweepstakes.

BetMGM's app features expanded pre-game and live betting options, and its online casino available in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Ontario is home to over 3,600 titles, and "one of the largest state-by-state exclusive jackpot networks", according to a press release. BetMGM operates in 29 markets across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico and is accessible on both iOS and Android.

This collaboration follows the introduction of the MGM Collection with Marriot Bonvoy, a brand offering that enables Marriot Bonvoy members to book reservations and earn and redeem points at 16 hotel and resort destinations in Las Vegas and beyond.
