On May 10, Pay4Fun celebrated six years of operation in the online betting payments market in Brazil. The company notes that it currently operates with "the world's leading bookmakers," boasting over 500 integrations.
In addition to consolidating its position as the leader in its segment of the Brazilian market, the company became the first payment institution to receive authorization from the Central Bank of Brazil to operate in the sports betting market.
Leonardo Baptista, CEO and Co-Founder of Pay4Fun, commented: "We have reached our sixth year with a consolidation that was only possible thanks to the tireless work of each of our collaborators and the commitment of the team we have built. We are writing our history and being an active part of it."
"Six years ago, talking about gambling money in Brazil was unthinkable. Pay4Fun was a pioneer as a payment institution in this market and since then we have advanced and grown stronger. Today, we are a respected force in the market, a solid foundation for further growth. Going forward, we will continue to aim to expand our services to other countries and diversify our products to reinforce our leadership in the sector," he added.
Baptista also recalled how in 2018 he joined a group of friends who shared the same goal of offering a secure and efficient means of payment for the online gaming market. The birth of Pay4Fun came at a time when Brazilian operators were facing difficulties in receiving deposits from bettors and paying out prizes.
The company, based in Brazil, was formed with Baptista's experience in the gaming sector, as well as with Marlon Rupe, who as CFO brought his vision and financial expertise. Fabricio Murakami, CMO, assumed the strategic role in marketing, Ronaldo Reis led the technological aspects and Ari Celia, director of institutional relations and ombudsman, was in charge of legal matters and the relations with operators.
During its six years of history, Pay4Fun decided to invest in sports and entertainment, with several sponsorships and strategic alliances. The company supports Stock Car drivers Gabriel Casagrande, Thiago Camilo, and Pipo Barrichello. It is also an official sponsor of poker player Rodrigo Garrido, the company's ambassador and one of the most prominent players in Brazil, and of the Gaming Operation Academy (GOA Latam), a workshop aimed at professionals and enthusiasts of the gaming sector in Latin America.
"It's impossible not to get excited when looking back and seeing how Pay4Fun has grown. We started as a small company on the 'trestle', with only half a floor, and today we are a reference in the online payments market for betting, with a company that has more than two floors, 130 employees, and more than 500 operators integrated into our platform," Baptista concluded.
