Which role does the Asian gaming industry play within the framework of Abbiati’s global operations and footprint?

The Asian gaming industry is a significant and growing element of business for Abbiati. The market is well positioned for further growth and, through its close client and partner relationships, and a high-quality, security-focused product portfolio, Abbiati hopes to benefit from this.

Casinos are increasing their security needs in the region, seeking the tracking of currency inside the casino or the growing interest in smart gaming tables, for instance. In which ways do Abbiati products help operators keep ahead of the cheats?

Security features are an ever-present and growing part of the Abbiati live table gaming offer.

From its high-quality, high-security Gaming Currencies to the Abbiati Roulette Wheel which is GLI-25 certified with the option of patented invisible laser technology to read the ball and identify game status.

Abbiati is a strategic partner of Walker Digital Table Systems (WDTS), and the authorized licensee of their RFID PJM technology. The Abbiati booth will have two gaming tables of a customized design with WDTS RFID PJM 13,56 MHz technology equipped with high-security professional Abbiati gaming currency with RFID PJM 13,56 MHz.

Taking into account Abbiati’s decades of experience in the gaming sector, the growing share of the online sector and the rise of technologies such as AI - where do you see the future of the industry headed?

Abbiati remains very positive regarding the future of the live table gaming market within the overall gaming sector. The company has a high-quality well-established product portfolio, remaining flexible to the needs of the customer by offering a range of materials and finishes to suit individual requirements and budgets.

The impact of new technology continues to grow, and secure and responsible gaming will continue to be pushed by operators and regulators alike, so the availability of relevant data for decision-making – age verification, live table management, currency security, etc – will remain paramount. Abbiati maintains close relationships with key players in these fields, so it is well-positioned to benefit from these new opportunities.
